Feast of the Apricot, June 17/18, Rhodes

The Culture and Environment Association of the village of Afandou invite you to the 4th Feast of the Apricot.

The event takes place on June 17 and 18, at 19: 00, in the village of Afandou. The festival will include traditional dishes such as sweet apricot and afantenes pancakes and will feature performances of traditional dance.

A traditional feast will follow later in the evening, accompanied by the orchestra of Stefano Tharrenos on Saturday and Stratos Tsirakaki on Sunday.

Attendance is free.

Afandou (or Afantou) is one of the largest villages on Rhodes with a population of 5,500. It is located on the east coast of the island, 18 km south of Rhodes Town and 20 km from Diagoras International Airport.
